Published: Thursday, 09 December 2010   Category: All Graduate job news

Vodafone UK has revealed today (December 9th) that it is looking to recruit 50 individuals for its 2011 graduate scheme.

The telecommunications giant will offer successful applicants a two-month stint in one of its 400 retail stores to allow them to become more familiar with its products.

It will then provide them with two five-month placements in areas such as finance, HR, technology, marketing and customer service.

The best-performing members of the programme will then be offered a permanent job and the chance to earn an annual salary of £25,000.

"Our 2010 programme attracted more than 3,000 graduates to apply," commented Nic Fitzgerald, Vodafone UK's graduate manager.

"The kind of people we are looking for are smart, self starters who want to make a difference for our customers and will love our fast moving environment."

Anyone interested in the scheme, which gets underway in September 2011, should visit vodafone.co.uk/discoveruk.

Vodafone is the world's largest telecommunications company by revenue and second-largest in terms of subscribers.
