University of Sheffield hosts graduate recruitment fair
Wednesday, 22 April 2009
Graduate job hunters in Sheffield will be interested to know that a major recruitment fair will be held next week (April 29th) which will allow university leavers to meet potential employers.
Held at the University of Sheffield's Octagon centre, the event is a collaboration between the higher education establishment and Sheffield Hallam University.
It will boast a broad range of big graduate recruiters from most sectors, such as Abercrombie and Fitch, HM Treasury, Mustang Engineering and Ernst and Young.
Those interested in graduate IT, engineering, business or management jobs are invited to attend the Spring into Jobs Fair between 10:30 BST and 16:00 BST.
Michelle Dexter, fair manager, said: "Graduates and students will get the opportunity to find out about companies they may want to work for, current vacancies available and how to apply for positions."
The Guardian recently reported that its London Graduate Fair has seen interest from employers which matches that of last year, despite the recession.
