Contained in the leaflet is information the various accommodation options for young people, such as living with parents, renting and purchasing a home.
Guidance provided by the National Union of Students on inspecting a property, costs and benefits is also included.
Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary said that finding a home was "a very important issue for young people".
He added: "Housing costs eat up a big chunk of most people's income, so it is vital young people have all the information they need to make an informed choice about what will suit them best and what they can afford."
Last month, National Association of Estate Agents president Chris Brown commented that the housing market was more transparent for buyers as a result of falling prices.
