A leading shower manufacturer has hailed all five members of its 2009 graduate scheme after seeing them successfully complete their first year with the firm.

Triton, which is based in Nuneaton, selected the university leavers from 20 shortlisted candidates following a competitive recruitment day, the Coventry Telegraph reports.

As part of the Commercial Graduate Programme, the youngsters worked across the company's finance, marketing, customer service, purchasing and IT departments.

Managing director Lorna Fellowes praised the graduates for their professional approach during the "challenging" 12-month period.

"The main aim of the scheme was to get new talent into the business to ensure we have strong management for the future," she told the news provider.

"It is a credit to the graduates that they have all worked hard to take responsibility, tackle projects head on and continuously deliver impressive results."

Triton, which is also investing in seven apprenticeships this year, was established in May 1975 from a garage in Atherstone.
