Graduate jobs may open up in the hospitality industry after hotel chain Travelodge is to create around 100 new jobs across the country.
Over spring, the company is to seven new hotels at locations including Birmingham, Hull and Bedford, according to the website of the trade magazine Recruiter.
Some of the roles will include positions for prospective receptionists, housekeepers, cleaners and assistant jobs in the hotels' bars and cafes.
Some graduate roles may be created among the new positions, possibly through the company's graduate scheme, which includes a 12-week management training programme.
For this graduate scheme, Travelodge is searching for people who have just left university with a 2.1 degree and an interest in the hospitality industry.
The new Birmingham hotel will open near the city centre's Bull Ring shopping centre, while Travelodge establishments will also come to locations in Warrington, Newbury, Market Harborough and New Brighton.
