Top employers for graduates desiring work-life balance

Published: Thursday, 30 July 2015   Category: All Graduate Jobs News

It’s no myth that graduates are seeking a role which allows them to have a good work-life balance and Glassdoor has provided us with a list of the top 20 UK employers who provide this.

Creating the perfect balance

The UK is known for having a poor work-life balance, with many young professionals working full-time at an average 39.2 hours per week.

However a quarter of these young workers are dissatisfied with their work-life balance, according to research, with Londoners being the largest complainers when it comes to how much time they spend in the office.

Despite this, today’s graduates can celebrate as there are now many firms across the UK who pride themselves on ensuring their employees have the perfect ratio between office and home life.

The list of top employers is based on reviews by employees. Each firm had to have a minimum of 20 reviews to qualify and received a rating out of five for their dedication to maintaining a work-life balance among employees.
