Sports science graduate jobs 'interesting and exciting'

Published: Monday, 13 December 2010   Category: Sport, leisure and hospitality

A degree in sports science could make for graduate jobs which lead to "an interesting and rewarding career," say the Guardian.

The degree equips people with a detailed knowledge of the sports industry and offers an insight into a range of areas from psychology to management.

In the national newspaper, Angela Foster, former editor of New Nation, writes: "The skills gained from a degree in sports science could certainly fire the starting gun for an interesting and rewarding career."

Ms Foster added that now is a great time to look for graduate jobs in London with a degree in sports science.

"With the 2012 Olympics around the corner, your skills are likely to be further sought after by local authorities and other organisations," she said.

Of people who graduated with a sports science degree in 2009, over 60 per cent went into employment in sectors such as sports, education, health and business, showing the versatility of the degree.
