Scott Logic 2016 Graduate Programme proves popular

Published: Thursday, 26 November 2015   Category: All Graduate Jobs News

Scott Logic, a chief UK software company, has wasted no time in selecting talented graduates for its 2016 Graduate Programme.

The growing consultancy, which bases its headquarters in Newcastle, boasts a number of graduate and internship programmes. They also have offices in Edinburgh, Bristol and London. Despite requesting applications only last month, they already have five confirmed new starters, who are set to join the business in February next year. This comes as great news to the firm, whose ultimate goal is to better 2015’s numbers.

Welcoming new recruits

In August, at the same time the company turned ten years old, and after rifling through hundreds of CV’s, they welcomed a record 19 graduates into their ranks. 2016 is looking to be another successful year.

Finding the talent

In order to find the stars of the future, Scott Logic have visited a variety of graduate job fairs and conferences, which has allowed them to meet with a number of potential employees.

Recruitment Manager John Wright has stated: ‘our 2015 graduate programme was hugely popular, and we made a record number of high-calibre appointments, including three former interns. Final year students and postgraduates alike are still welcome to apply to join next year’s graduate intakes, but students at earlier stages of their degree can also benefit from our internship.’

Going forward

Lucky candidates that have already been selected will be joining Scott Logic’s offices in Edinburgh and Newcastle. However, this isn’t the end of their search and those still looking to apply will be pleased to learn that there are plenty of remaining places to fill.

A recruitment advisor from Scott Logic has stated ‘we’d be delighted to have a chat with anyone who may be interested on an informal basis before applying’.

The new employers will begin their roles in 2016, some of which include software development, software testing and User Experience design.
