As part of the Liverpool ONE regeneration project, which will transform the city centre of Liverpool, a week long recruitment drive is set to start today, offering temporary work, part time work and graduate jobs.
Outreach events will be run at locations across the city as Liverpool ONE unveils its programme which will guarantee an interview for every unemployed person in Liverpool.
Joanna Jennings, chief executive of Liverpool ONE, said: "The outreach events next week are a vital stage in our recruitment process. We're really looking forward to meeting the people soon to be our Liverpool ONE team."
She added that as part of the project, people are needed who "bring the skills that are important to us and who have pride in their city".
The company is launching the project in partnership with Shop For Jobs and there will be presentations at each of the events explaining the roles and the training that is given.
Liverpool ONE is a £1 billion project to redevelop 42 acres of the city centre of Liverpool.
