University-leavers looking for graduate opportunities may wish to look towards Swansea, after it was announced that call centre in south Wales city will create 360 new jobs.

The Nationwide Energy Services contact centre, based in Swansea Enterprise Park, helps people who are trying to secure government grants for loft and cavity wall insulation.

Dean Price, the marketing director of Nationwide Energy Services, told the Western Mail of the company's recruitment plans.

"At the moment we have got a massive recruitment drive," he said.

"From January to the beginning of February we have taken on an additional 75 staff, we have 35 more starting next week and in March and April we will be recruiting another 80 starters, and by the end of July there will be another 150 jobs."

The business, which was set up in 2005, has been growing steadily since its formation. The Swansea call centre currently has a workforce of 280 people.
