Graduate Job sector Reports
PricewaterhouseCoopers has been named the top place for graduate jobs for the fifth year running, it has been revealed.
The financial services firm topped the Times list of 100 best graduate employers, which is based on interviews with students who left university this summer.
Ian Powll, UK chairman and senior partner at PwC, said: "It is a great accolade for our firm to be seen by graduates as providing an excellent business schooling and long-term career."
The firm offers more than 1,000 graduate jobs each year and this reflects the firm's investment in people, he added.
His colleague, Sonja Stockton stated that the firm is "extremely pleased" to have secured the accolade once more.
Yesterday, the Times reported that the UK Graduate Careers Survey 2008 shows those looking for graduate jobs are most interested in a position which will challenge them on a daily basis.
Other priorities include the chance to work towards a professional qualification.
