Young Britons interested in securing graduate jobs in law are being encouraged to attend a series of open days in Birmingham next month.
The College of Law will be offering would-be lawyers the chance to speak to tutors, current students and local legal professionals about its courses, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Taking place on November 3rd, 20th and 24th at the Great Hampton Street centre, the events are open to undergraduates, graduates and individuals looking for a career change.
At present, the college runs a Graduate Diploma in Law, a Legal Practice Course for aspiring solicitors and a Bar Professional Training Course for people eager to become barristers.
"The new courses use the latest e-learning technology to give students increased one-to-one supervision from their tutors and enable them to fit their learning around work and family commitments and reduce travel and accommodation costs," noted the news provider.
Meanwhile, retail giant John Lewis revealed this week that it will double the number of graduate vacancies it offers per year in 2011.
