Graduate vacancies may open in Northern Ireland after a manufacturing firm announced it is to create 225 new jobs in the country.

Camden New Build Windows may employ some graduate engineers as they take on the new employees over the next three years, according to local television channel UTV.

The firm, which makes PVC doors, windows and conservatories, announced the moves yesterday (February 24th) as part of a £16 million new investment.

Arlene Foster, Northern Ireland's enterprise minister, told the news provider that the County Antrim-based firm's investment would boost the country's economy.

"Camden's investment will result in a major technological advancement in profile extrusion and is a significant boost for the construction sector in Northern Ireland," she said.

"Camden is among the many companies that are focusing on new product and process innovation to enhance business performance."

The new employees will hold positions in areas such as production, administration, finance and sales.
