North Wales company announces expansion

A North Wales based geoscience firm has announced plans to hire up to 20 new staff, providing good news for students looking for graduate jobs in the area.
X-Ray Mineral Services, which provides information to oil and gas companies in order for them to find new reserves, has recently merged with an Australian firm called Intellection.
The company which is now called Intellection (UK) following the merger, will be relocating from its Colwyn Bay offices to Abergele, and will be hiring new staff in the process.
A grant of £240,000 has been provided by the Welsh Assembly Government in order to help the expansion of the company.
Intellection has previously concentrated on the mining sector but with its recent acquisition is looking to build up gas and oil business, using the Welsh firm
Also in North Wales, the Welsh Assembly has announced plans to build a new rail depot in Wrexham that will create 45 new local jobs.
