Published: Thursday, 31 March 2011   Category: Banking and Finance

A new partnership between professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Henley Business School at the University of Reading will guarantee a graduate job for people completing a course.

These two establishments are to offer funding for a four-year BA degree in Accounting and Business, with graduate vacancies waiting for the people who complete the course.

David Willetts, the minister for universities and science, offered his congratulations to the organisations for their forward-thinking scheme.

"I hope this innovative new scheme will prove to be very popular among prospective students," he said.

"I congratulate PwC and Henley Business School on this exciting initiative, which is a great example of how new routes to the professions are being offered to help people reach their full potential."

The two organisations will earn money as they study via three work placements, while graduates will join PwC with a salary of up to £35,000 plus benefits.
