More than 100 new jobs to be created at waste management firm

A waste management and recycling firm in West Yorkshire is set to create around 100 jobs in the area, despite only starting trading earlier this month.

The recruitment drive from Sunserol may include graduate opportunities with the company, which recycles electrical and electronic waste products.

Craig Thompson, the founder and manager of the new firm, told local newspaper the Telegraph and Argus that he believes the company's "unique" way of dealing with waste will cause it to grow.

"I have big ambitions for Sunersol and hope the company's success will have a positive impact on the local community," he said.

"Sunersol's recycling solution is unique in the UK where the safe and responsible disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment is an ever-increasing problem."

The particular way in which Sunersol recycles electrical goods is by sending a container to companies, which then return it to the waste management firm, creating a 'closed loop' of recycling.
