United States-based company Zeus Industrial Products has pledged to create around 75 jobs in the Country Donegal over the next three years.

The company say the job creation represents an investment of 10 million euros (£8.5 million) in the country.

Zeus, based in South Carolina, manufactures medical and industrial equipment in the IDA Business and Technology Park, Letterkenny, Country Donegal.

Seamus Hughes, general manager of Zeus's Irish arm, said that the company has had a "positive experience" in Ireland.

"Due to the growth in our customer base in Europe, we are expanding our operation in Letterkenny to meet the demand for our medical and industrial speciality tubing product," he said.

There has been an increase in job creation in Ireland recently, with the country's industrial development agency, IDA Ireland.
