M&S make 200 graduate places available

Published: Monday, 19 November 2007   Category: Graduate Job sector Reports

Marks and Spencer will offer more than 200 jobs in its latest graduate recruitment scheme.

The firm is now accepting applications for the scheme which offers jobs in its West Midlands stores.

Trainee commercial manager David Bloore, who joined the scheme eight months ago, said: "I am already the sole commercial manager at M&S Coventry. It is very challenging at times, however I really do thrive under pressure. Since starting on the scheme, I have received lots of support from my colleagues and have also had the opportunity to go on a number of training courses which have armed me with some fantastic transferable skills."

The jobs available will be selling positions in food, merchandising and technology.

Meanwhile in Northern Ireland, hundreds of jobs will be showcased at one of the biggest recruitment fairs ever organised in Northern Ireland.

A new development, Victoria Square, is opening and it brings with it hundreds of recruitment opportunities.
