KPMG expand graduate scheme to new universities

Published: Tuesday, 08 March 2011   Category: Banking and Finance

A leading professional services firm has extended its graduate scheme to two new universities.

KPMG will now offer students at the University of Exeter and the University of Birmingham the chance to apply for positions on their six-year long graduate scheme.

As part of the scheme, the students will gain work experience at KPMG while taking a degree. The successful applicants will also receive a salary of around £20,000 and have all tuition fees and university accommodation costs paid.

Professor Richard Lamming, the dean of the University of Exeter Business School, said that graduate schemes such as this one are exciting for the department.

"The Business School is well known for its strong relationships with many leading graduate employers, including KPMG and I'm delighted that this has been recognised with this new scheme," he said

"My Accounting colleagues and I are very much looking forward to welcoming our first KPMG students later this year."
