Jobs fair offers charity employment
Wednesday, 01 July 2009
A major jobs fair is to bring employers and work seekers, such as graduates, together to discuss positions available in the charity and not-for-profit sector.
Those looking for graduate jobs in the public sector are invited to the forum3 event, which takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, between September 10th and 11th, according to Onrec.com.
Charities with potential graduate jobs available such as Cancer Research UK, the Big Issue, Save the Children and the Salvation Army will all be present looking for new talent.
Deborah Hockham, director at forum3, said: "We expect this year to see a wide range of people from both private and pubic sector looking for new career opportunities."
A recent report by the Association of Master of Business Administrations revealed that the number of MBA graduates choosing to pursue careers in the charities or campaign group sector has seen a "significant increase", according to the Independent.
