Graduates hoping to find employment within the IT sector may be interested to hear that a technology firm in Ireland has created 70 new jobs and that two other firms in the country are to create another 130 positions.
Bells Labs Ireland is in a position to offer 70 new jobs on its Green Touch initiative thanks to the government's IDA Ireland scheme.
Deputy prime minister Mary Coughlan yesterday (February 3rd) announced the major expansion of Bell Labs at its plant in Dublin.
She said: "Bell Labs plays a hugely significant part in the Irish research eco-system.
"Its uniquely open approach to innovation and the sharing of ideas will advance technological development and accelerate growth amongst Irish companies, bolstering our long-term economic expansion."
Additionally, Synergy Security, a security firm with offices in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick is to create 100 jobs before the end of the year, while Nua Healthcare is set to offer 30 positions in Kildare and Laois.
