A leading IT provider has revealed that it will open a new office in London in order to take on 100 new graduates.

Softcat, which won the Sunday Times' Best Small Company to Work For in 2010 award, is set to take on the university leavers over the next three years at a new facility in Moorgate.

The recruits, who will work alongside staff moving to London from the company's offices in Marlow and Manchester, will be filling sales, account management and support positions.

"London is one of the best places to recruit, so we have decided it is time to build a presence there," said managing director Martin Hellawell.

"We are growing quickly because we attract the best people. And because we look after them well, they enjoy their work and help us to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction."

Softcat's reputation has soared as it offers student loan contributions, healthcare and dental plans, a contributory pension, half-day holidays on birthdays and lunch at exclusive restaurants.

Last week, specialist business insurer Hiscox claimed that one in three Britons graduating in 2010 and 2011 is planning to start their own business.ADNFCR-1068-ID-19907743-ADNFCR
