Graduate Job sector Reports
A leading soft drinks company has been named as one of the UK's top graduate employers by a national newspaper.
The Times has claimed that Innocent Drinks' Grass Roots graduate jobs initiative, which last year saw five vacancies offered to university leavers across Britain, is one of its main draws for those seeking work.
It is suggested that the graduate scheme sees people given 16 months with the company's commercial team to learn fully about the firm before taking charge of customer accounts.
The newspaper has claimed that no vacancies on the programme for this year have yet been announced, although those who succeed in getting on have access to profit-related pay and private healthcare.
Gerwyn Davies, public policy adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, recently claimed that the public sector is becoming more attractive to graduates looking for jobs.
He claimed that increases in borrowing included in the pre-budget report meant the area was in a better position than firms in the private sector.
