Hitachi Capital launches graduate scheme

Published: Thursday, 24 February 2011   Category: Sales and recruitment

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, a leading fleet management and finance-providing company, has launched a graduate scheme for its sales department.

The graduate scheme will give successful university-leavers a two-year-long contract with the firm, comprising of one year in various departments and one focusing in the sales area, according to Fleet News.

For the first year, the successful applicants will be employed in other departments such as customer services, which it is hoped will provide them with transferable skills that can be utilised in sales positions.

The first year will end with a series of assessments. If the applicant passes these tests, the second year will be spent in a graduate role at the sales department.

In this second year, the employee will receive a basic salary, a company car and commission for their sales.

Promotional material will be distributed to local universities until April or May, which is when the firm hopes to employ the first round of graduates.
