All Graduate job news
Recent university leavers looking for the latest graduate jobs and courses related to PR may be interested to hear that the number of jobs in the sector has more than doubled since the last quarter of 2009.
This was attributed to a rise across all levels of the PR sector, with a particular increase in junior roles.
When comparing the first quarter of 2010 with the last quarter of 2009, Major Player PR Division claimed that it saw a rise of 210 per cent in the number of job briefs.
And this looks set to continue into quarter two with current job briefs for April already at 96 per cent compared to March 2010, which is just two-thirds of the way through the month.
Jon Gloyne, PR divisional head at Major Players, said: "It's great news for the industry that this increase indicates a return to business for the sector.
"Since the start of the year we've seen a dramatic increase in the number of junior roles being briefed by our clients. This is further indication of the market buoyancy we're currently experiencing."
