Recent university leavers looking for graduate jobs in banking and finance may want to consider applying for a place on one of M&G Investments' graduate training programmes.
The firm, an asset manger that operates throughout Europe, looks after investments for over 346,000 investors and manages nearly £174 billion as of December 31st 2009.
Its placements last between 12 and 18 months, depending on the scheme, and offers training on top of a mentorship scheme that will provide support during and after the attachment.
Specific positions up for grabs include a fixed income investment trainee, a position business change and one in information systems technology.
In a statement on the job, the firm said: "Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically. We are looking for drive, determination and an enthusiasm that will make a positive impact on our business."
Graduates with a 2:1 degree or more can apply via their website for the training programme which begins in September 2010.
