Graduate work experience offered by online firm

Published: Wednesday, 22 December 2010   Category: Work Experience

Graduates with a passion for social business and enterprise may be interested in a new internship programme at ClearlySo.

The innovative company, which describes itself as "the first online marketplace for social business and enterprise, commerce and investment", is recruiting interns to help with its growing website.

Successful applicants will benefit from graduate work experience involving a range of activities, including individual projects to suit their knowledge, skills and interests.

The positions will be based in London and will be unpaid, although the company will cover lunch and travel expenses.

Chris King, manager of the internship programme at ClearlySo, told Social Enterprise Live that the programme is "unique".

"We offer the chance to be involved at the cutting edge of a start-up company," he revealed.

"We do not expect interns to sit in the back of the office doing menial jobs. Instead we offer them the chance to play an important role in the development of this company."

Mr King added that successful applicants will gain valuable graduate work experience which should increase their employability in the future.
