A leading insurance broker based in East Sussex is to create 150 new jobs in the area, which may include graduate vacancies.
The hirings at Hastings Direct are to be made in two rounds: firstly, 60 "enthusiastic, outgoing and reliable new staff" will be recruited this month, which suggests that graduate roles are available.
Around 90 people will then be hired before summer. The company says the new jobs have been created to reflect growing customer demand.
Amanda Menahem, human resources director at Hastings Direct, said there was room for progression due to the company's development programme.
"We are a successful and fast growing business, as well as being a great place to work. We have doubled our leadership and development programme for 2011," she said.
"Many of managers originally joined us as call centre workers and we are keen to identify and progress talent in our business."
The company is looking for people from the Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove areas.
