Graduate recruitment partnership announced

The Guardian and The Careers Group of the University of London have announced a partnership that will be directly aimed at graduate recruitment.

Graduate recruitment exhibitions that The Career Group has hosted in the past will now be presented under both partner's names, while they will work in conjunction to introduce further schemes to benefit both graduate and employer.

Commenting on the partnership, Helen Bird, sales director of Guardian Jobs, stated "Graduates have always been core to the Guardian with dedicated editorial, a comprehensive recruitment offering and a heritage of research, so I am delighted that we are entering into this important partnership with The Careers Group."

She added that the experience of The Careers Group, along with the Guardian's reputation for communication with graduates and employers should ensure that they can "assist all graduates with their career development".

Anne-Marie Martin, director of The Careers Group, University of London agreed, noting that the Guardian "leads the way" in graduate recruitment.
