Those looking for graduate jobs in engineering might find the door is open for them to enter the world of Formula One motor racing, it has been claimed.
While many firms engaged in the technical side of the sport do not take on graduates, there are some that do, reports Electronics Weekly.
According to the website, Surrey-based McLaren Electronic Systems (Mes) is just one such firm.
Speaking to the news provider, Peter Van Manen, managing director for the company, said: "A lot of people have been working for us for 10 to 15 years but we also have a number of quite fresh graduates and a number of people who have been out in industry for a number of years."
The firm tends to look for graduates with a good first degree and good problem solving skills, he added.
Meanwhile, those looking for graduate jobs in law might want to investigate positions outside of London.
According to research by the Sellick Partnership, the cost of living in the capital means that lawyers in many provincial cities are relatively better off.
