A new Travelodge hotel near Glasgow has begun recruiting staff as it prepares to open.
In news that might be of interest to those looking for graduate jobs in the area, the firm is looking for an assistant manager and 24 other workers for its King's Inch Road project, reports the Glasgow Evening Times.
The newspaper points out that the firm has just started a graduate scheme and fast-track management programme.
Speaking to the publication, Elaine Templeton, the company's district manager, said: "I am looking forward to bringing the best team together to help make Glasgow Braehead Travelodge a great success."
The £4.1 million, 99-bedroom development is set to open its doors to guests on August 22nd.
Yesterday, Gerwyn Davies, public policy adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, claimed that current job figures show the employment market is defying "the woes experience by the rest of the economy".
