Insurance giant Lloyd's has welcomed a group of new graduates who will start jobs at the firm today (September 22nd).
At the same time, the company's graduate recruitment scheme for 2010 is also opening today, so anyone who wishes to follow in the footsteps of the new employees needs to get their CVs in by January next year.
The new recruits are on an 18-month contract, which will give them six months in three different areas of the insurance industry and one representative for Lloyd's said the university leavers will settle in quickly.
Suzy Black, head of human resources, said: "We are very excited to welcome our new graduates on board. We have a great programme and I'm sure they will find it both stimulating and challenging. We look forward to working with the graduates and supporting them in developing their careers at Lloyd's."
Top graduate job provider PricewaterhouseCoopers recently said that university leavers wishing to find employment this year must not be fussy about location.
