More than 4,000 final-year students are gearing up to take the first steps on their graduate design careers by showing their work at London's prestigious New Designers exhibition.
New designers, again to be held at the North London business centre, is an integral part of the graduate design careers calendar, showcasing the work of students from more than 100 different UK institutions in 20 different design disciplines, ranging from fashion to furniture and from animation to architecture.
Now in its 22nd year, the exhibition has previously launched the design careers of countless graduate designers.
Accordingly, New Designers now enjoys high profile support from some of the country's biggest design names, including Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen, James Dyson and Wayne Hemmingway, who have all commissioned work by artists first viewed at New Designers.
Such is the stretch of new design talent on show, this year's exhibition has been split in to two parts. The first, from July 5th to 8th, highlights new art, ceramics, textiles fashion and jewellery design, while part two, from July 12th to 15th, focuses on product, furniture and spatial design, as well as animation and media design work.
