A property developer in Moray, Scotland, has announced that it will provide 150 new construction jobs when it begins work building houses in the area, which may be of interest to graduates looking into the industry.
Springfield Properties has signed contracts with three other companies for the construction of 400 new houses in the Moray area as part of a £15 million investment initiative to provide more affordable residences.
A broad range of jobs will be created within the next six months for people in Scotland, including graduates, and employment will last for at least 18 months.
Mr Johnston, a representative from the Chamber of Commerce, told the Aberdeen Press and Journal: "Springfield Properties
have worked hard to secure this contract. That sort of thing has got to be a boost for the local economy."
Graham Arnold, centre manager for Construction Training London, recently said that employment prospects for women looking graduate construction jobs are good.
