Graduates seeking temporary jobs may be able to benefit from new employment opportunities in the hospitality sector after recruitment firm gap personnel created a new division.
The firm's hospitality arm, named Entree, will be led by experienced catering professional John Silvert, according to reports.
It will provide staff for events, stadium fixtures, conferences, private functions and hotels, in a development which may be of note to university leavers seeking short-term employment options.
Gary Dewhurst, managing director at gap personnel, said the firm was devoted to providing clients with the best nationwide recruitment service.
He added: "With the superior team we have on board, we are confident we will deliver the same level of expertise shown throughout all of our divisions."
Mr Dewhurst commented that the firm was "really excited" about its move into the hospitality sector.
Last week, New Frontiers managing director Julia Fuell told Recruiter magazine that many firms in the hospitality industry were likely to be hiring in a bid to generate new business as the economic slump continues.
