Go for graduate opportunities at one of the 'best big companies to work for'

People looking for graduate opportunities may wish to look for jobs at professional services firm PricewaterhouseCooper, as the company was named among the best companies to work for in the country.

That is according to an annual survey called Top 25 Best Big Companies to Work For, which placed PwC as 11th, citing the firm's leadership and variety of work.

Ian Powell, the chairman and senior partner at the professional services firm, said that the company were proud to be placed in the top 25 again and said a lot of the praise must go to the graduate vacancies department.

"We strive to make PwC an exceptional place to work. That starts by attracting and developing the brightest and the best business minds," he said.

"We held our nerve on graduate recruitment levels through the downturn, and that puts us in a strong position for the future.

He added that university-leavers - of which the company employs over 1,000 per year - "rightly have high expectations of working for PwC".
