Graduate Job sector Reports
People looking for graduate finance jobs may be interested to know that employees in the sector rate flexible working as the most important part of their remuneration packages, according to a report.
The research, by CIMA and Robert Half Finance Accounting, showed that 23 per cent of workers surveyed said that flexible working was the option they wanted most.
Rick Sturge, director of employer and strategic development at CIMA, said: "Work life balance is becoming increasingly important for today's professionals and it is obvious that employers need to adjust their benefits package to respond to this trend."
He went on to say that as finance employees are in such great demand, it is "important for employers to off a good all round package not just financial, but work life to recruit and retain top performing staff".
The study also found that 84 per cent of finance employees said that they are happy with their wages and benefits packages.
CIMA represents 158,000 students and members in 161 countries and was founded in 1919.
