Recent university leavers looking for graduate jobs may be interested to hear that law firm Eversheds confirmed on Friday (March 5th) that it will be taking on graduates in 2010, in addition to offering trainee positions to all graduates whose entry was deferred last year.
Eversheds plans on taking 76 graduate trainees in 2010, which will be comprised from 49 new applicants and 27 from 2009. They will be given the chance to work across practice groups in offices both in the UK and globally, during the two-year contract.
Bryan Hughes, Eversheds chief executive, said: "We are delighted to be able to make this commitment to these talented people. Whilst the economy remains fragile in some areas, we are seeing the benefits of having proactively managed our business as our performance continues to improve.
"Our strategy of providing innovative and flexible solutions to clients is helping us win more and better quality work across the board, and it is important that we again invest in the next generation of lawyers to underpin future growth."
