DHL expands graduate jobs scheme

International courier firm DHL Exel Supply Chain has extended its graduate jobs scheme.
The firm has rolled out the programme across countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA), reports Supply Chain Executive.
Speaking to a news provider, Alison Bending, the firm's graduate programme manager, stated that the company's graduate jobs scheme offers a range of positions in areas including management, consultancy, sourcing and design.
"We have developed a world-class graduate programme which we believe will put us at the forefront of graduate recruitment, training and development in the logistics industry," she said.
The move positions DHL Exel Supply Chain as a top employer for graduates across the EMEA region, Ms Bending stated.
Yesterday, the Sheffield Telegraph reported that a work placement at university can help people find graduate jobs.
Speaking to the newspaper, Dr Noreen Axelby, a lecturer at the city's Hallam University, stated that employability should be key to any course.
