Company heads to universities for new graduate recruitment drive

Published: Tuesday, 11 May 2010   Category: Employer News

Two ambitious university leavers have joined a UK events company as part of its new graduate recruitment strategy, it has been confirmed.

Patrick Ockendon and Maj Asif, who graduated from Swansea Metropolitan University and the University College for Creative Arts respectively, have been snapped up by Corporate Innovations.

The move was a result of the company sending delegations to higher education institutions across the country in order to secure emerging talent, Meetpie.com reports.

"By bringing talented graduates under our wing and making a substantial investment in training for the rest of our established team, we are presenting everyone with a fresh opportunity to help develop their career," managing director David Watt told the news provider.

Mr Watt added that another two employees who were originally brought in as graduates, Jemma Coles and Joe Quarterman, were recently appointed to the role of senior account manager.

The news comes after leading accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers revealed this week that has already recruited 153 graduates as part of its spring intake.ADNFCR-1068-ID-19770923-ADNFCR
