Chocolate giant launches graduate recruitment scheme

News Article Published: Friday, 02 November 2007   Category: Food and drink

The world's largest confectionary company, Cadburys, has launched its 2008 UK graduate recruitment campaign.

To mark the start of the recruitment drive, the Bourneville-based company has launched an online chat room on its website to allow university leavers looking to pursue graduate careers with them to find out more information about the programme.

As well as offering potential candidates the chance to ask Cadbury's graduate recruitment team questions about the scheme, it also allows them to talk to former members of the programme.

Susan Coen, graduate resourcing adviser for Cadbury Schweppes, said: 'We have introduced the live chat room to our website as we are keen to embrace any new technology which can improve the candidate experience when researching our company as a potential future employer."

Cadbury's graduate recruitment programme lasts for up to three years and is based at various locations around the UK and Ireland depending on the business area chosen by graduates.

In 2006 the company recruited 24 graduates, with 11 having been signed up to the scheme so far this year.ADNFCR-1068-ID-18340896-ADNFCR
