Graduate job hunters could create a personal brand which will help them stand out in the competitive market for employment, one firm believes.
Speaking to Onrec.com, independent design company Serif said that all unemployed Brits, including graduates, could have a personal logo made up to adorn any covering letters they send out.
Online CVs could also be made more dynamic with the use of HTML, or by converting files to a PDF format to be used with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
A spokesperson for the group added: "Candidates can offer samples of their relevant past experience
in a full-colour, seamless presentation and leave behind a personal business card with all relevant contact information, including website address."
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants member Imtiaz Ahmed believes having a blog, a Facebook account and a Twitter account can help graduate job hunters build their online reputation, the Cambridge News reported.
