Creative Industries: arts and design
Marketing firms in Birmingham have developed a new graduate scheme to help students find work in the city, and also provide a chance to display their work to top marketing companies.
Ten of the city's leading PR and design agencies have teamed together to launch the new competition, in the style of TV's Dragon's Den, where current students and last year's marketing graduates in Birmingham will be able to showcase their work.
Six winners from two categories, PR and design, will be offered one month's paid work at one of the six agencies on the panel.
Aston University, the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University and Matthew Bolton College are all involved with the scheme, and those wanting to take part must get their entries in by Friday (March 6th).
London Fashion Week recently helped fashion graduates showcase their work to major design companies all over the UK.
