BDO Stoy Hayward named employer of the year

Accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward has been voted as Employer of the Year by readers of Accountancy Age.
The company, which features in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list, has picked up the award in three of the last four years, just missing out last year to KPMG.
Standing as a credible competitor to the Big Four in the world of accounting, BDO was also features on The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers list, and saw its graduate intake increase from 175 to 250 between 2005 and 2006.
Commenting on its latest accolade, managing partner Jeremy Newman said: "I am extremely proud that our firm has once more emerged victorious at the Accountancy Age awards.
"This award is testimony to our people's tireless pursuit of excellence and evidence of the combination of enthusiasm and technical ability that, I believe, makes us unique in the marketplace."
At last year's Accountancy Age awards, BDO Stoy Hayward was named Global Firm of the Year and Mr Newman was named Personality of the Year.
