Female graduates can give themselves a major boost for a job interview by wearing the right clothes, it has been suggested.
In a recent poll conducted by Clothes Show London, the vast majority (89 per cent) of women said they wanted their companies to relax office attire rules during the summer.
However, Delyth Evans, chief executive of Dress for Success, explained that avoiding low-cut tops or short skirts will help female university leavers make a better impression on potential employers.
"Having the right clothes to wear for a job interview completely transforms a woman's sense of confidence and self belief," she said.
"The impact of wearing something that you feel good in completely changes the way you feel about yourself."
Ms Evans also revealed that her company has witnessed a 50 per cent improvement in interview success among their female customers who decided to wear "the right clothes".
Meanwhile, a recent study by Reuters and Ipsos found that Europeans are the most casual when it comes to work clothes, with only 27 per cent wearing a business suit or smart outfit.
