Accenture to step up search for top graduates

Published: Tuesday, 30 November 2010   Category: All Graduate job news

A leading management consultancy firm has unveiled plans to create dozens of graduate jobs over the next four years.

Despite the tough economic conditions facing the Republic of Ireland right now, Accenture has announced that it is to create 100 highly-skilled jobs in Dublin in the years ahead.

Notably, all of the positions will be filled by skilled graduates, with a degree, though not previous experience in the consultancy industry, a pre-requisite for applying.

While details of the positions set to be made available have yet to be fully confirmed, Accenture has revealed it is keen to expand its research, development and innovation centre in the capital, with the firm's recruitment drive to focus on candidates' analytical skills.

"Many of the 100 new roles created will be focussed specifically on research and development and we are currently recruiting both graduates and experienced hires with analytical and statistics experience ranging from PhD level to graduate level," Accenture Ireland managing director Mark Ryan noted.

This comes just days after the latest XpertHR graduate recruitment survey revealed that job prospects for university leavers have steadily improved over the past 12 months.
