Aberdeen University offers postgraduate discount

Undergraduates of Aberdeen University in Scotland can improve their skills for the competitive job market thanks to a new scheme which will see them get money off tuition fees for further study.

Alumni of the higher education provider are entitled to a 20 per cent discount on the costs of postgraduate courses, and the university is hosting [an and] open day next month for those interested in the qualifications.

Taking place at the King's College campus on November 11th, bachelor's degree-holders will be able to see how a postgraduate course can help them enhance their career prospects and even boost their potential salaries.

A representative for Aberdeen University told the Press & Journal that the institution offers "more than 140 one-year master's programmes, a wide selection of research programmes and continued professional development courses."

Those struggling to find a graduate job in the current competitive market were recently encouraged to look at taking up further study on a business management course by Independent journalist Amy McLellan.
