Aardvark Swift, the specialist video game recruitment consultancy, is calling on UK games developers to employ more graduates, according to developmag.com.
With a lack of graduate talent in the industry the recruitment specialist is attempting to target university students to solve its recruitment headache.
Lisa Corbett, graduate recruiter at Aardvark Swift said: "We've campaigned consistently for studios to consider taking talented newcomers, especially at a time when there is such a shortage of experienced coders."
She added: "We've realised quickly that we needed to raise the standard and relevance of the graduate applications so we sought out graduates from the most relevant courses, with the highest possible grades and then we helped them tailor their experience, CVs and job applications.
"We know we can place more graduates into the UK games industry and intend building on the relationships we have already put in place. We still have a large number of talented graduates who are looking to get into the industry."
