Around 300 jobs are set to be created in the north-east of England after a homecare provider gained new investment from the London-based organisation Bridge Ventures.
Care and Share Associates (CASA) is set to creat the jobs, which may include graduate opportunities, in new heath centres around the region, according to the local NE Business website.
The firm, which is soon to open new establishments in Leeds and Merseyside, will employ 50 people on each of the 6 planned sites.
Dr Guy Turnbull, business development director at CASA, told the news provider that the new openings show the huge demand for care homes.
"There is a huge demand for the type of care we provide, with advances in medical technology meaning that life expectancies have increased massively over the past 30 years," he said.
"This has also helped those with very complicated disabilities live much longer than previously imagined, meaning that additional forms of specialist care are needed."
