Website Administrator / Web Developer

Oxford

Circa £22,000 plus 10% Bonus

Their best-in-class tools automate and support best practices throughout the application development lifecycle so nothing is lost, overlooked, or misunderstood. By optimising each phase of development, our client’s tools improve visibility, collaboration, and validation, enabling customers to deliver better software and systems faster.

They currently have an opening for an Internet Production Editor to become a key member of the international web team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of web development projects, with an emphasis on front-end components. This will include design, development, unit/system testing, analysing code and creating/maintaining documentation.

It will be your duty to administer web development projects, supporting marketing programs and campaigns by building the HTML for marketing emails such as newsletters and press blasts. You will provide significant input to user interface and functionality requirements. Liaising with marketing groups to help globalise the content will also be key to this role, as will system testing of websites and content, in order to assure conformance to brand standards.

Our client is looking for a self motivated individual with relevant work experience. You will have expert skill levels in cross-browser supported HTML, CSS and content management systems, along with a basic proficiency with server-side scripting (ASP, CFM, JSP, PHP etc). It is essential that you have an in-depth understanding of standard web development process and technical production. Image manipulation and optimisation abilities are also required.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can work well under pressure and has experience of managing his or her own work and time. You will be organised, reliable and enthusiastic with the ability to provide creative solutions to problems.
